Job Description

Purpose
• Perform varying departmental operations as required in the fabrication/assembly of customer products generally. Depending upon experience work can range from lower skill needs to high skill level experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Awareness of general company production and quality procedures
• Knowledge of Company cosmetic workmanship standard specified and how to interpret it to the specified quality specified on the traveler.
• Proper stacking and protection of parts as required to maintain specified quality standard.
• Work where needed in different departments often changing from day to day.
• Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Possible forklift operation
• Must be self-motivated with the willingness to stick to tasks that may be repetitive in nature.
• Perform work within acceptable quality and productivity standards
• Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Generally none.

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret specific work instructions, quality documents, safety instructions, and general business documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate information to various levels of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
• Ability to apply general mathematical concepts and operation such as additional, subtraction, multiplication, division percentages, ratios, and fractions.
• Desired ability to use precision measurement equipment.
• Requires accuracy in counting parts and production data entry.

Pay Scale

• Can vary from low to mid to upper range depending upon complexity of assembly and if there is any supervisory or lead operator positions.
